We receive hand written letters from little school children, desperate mothers and fathers asking help hand in their very basic human needs. Dear Friends, we believe your generosity brings them a smile, hope and a shining bright light to their lives.
We know some of us can not make a regular commitment for charity though despite our best intentions. This registry is for those of us who like to do what ever possible to help our brothers, sister and children in the rural Welioya community to uplift their lives.
How IT WORKS
The Foundation
- All items in the gift list are vetted under direct guidance of Ven. Galgamuwe Santhabodhi thero.
- Processes vetting is via documents, visits by the field officers and interviews with the requestor. Only those approved with evidence are qualify for the registry.
- The gift you selects can either be the physical item requested or a money donation towards acquiring the gift. The foundation will guarantee the gift received only by the intended recipient.
- If the gift is in nature of a monthly monetary donation, our foundation will liaise the initial contact between the two parties per donor’s discretion.
- For the donations coordinated through our organisation we will ensure your contacts with the recipient is only through us or your preference.
