Test Post 3

Our foundation was established in February 2018 to help improve the quality of lives of disadvantaged families in northern Sri Lanka, which was affected by three decades of war against terrorists.
There are about 27 war-affected and resettled villages (9000 families), especially in the economically disadvantaged districts of Mullativu and Vavuniya of the Northern Province. There are 6000 families (2000 school children) within 21 villages of Welioya, Mullativu Districts. These families suffer through extreme poverty resulted from a lack of stable means of living. Their income is predominantly based on farming and hard labour.  The war which spanned for 3 decades massively impacted these remote northern villagers, crippling their mental and physical health. As a result, their attitude towards quality of life has shifted to something quite different from what the majority of Sri Lankans experience.
