NENA SAHANA

“Education is the best gift you can give any little child if you care about their future”

Poverty drives children to drop out of school irrespective of how badly they want to continue. The responsibility we have taken up is to build a support system to stop them from dropping out of school. By helping children finish secondary school, we can place them in a much better position to take advantage of opportunities such as finding employment in the future.

This NENA SAHANA (නැණ සහන ) program is focused on making a long-term impact on the lives of children living in poverty by enabling their education.
We aim to support children of poverty stricken families living in the Northern Province, to grow up to be empowered, confident adults enriched with academic knowledge through school, which ultimately will lead them to opportunities for a stable future.
